HVO: what is it?
The acronym HVO stands for Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil and is a biofuel of the latest generation, produced from renewable raw materials such as vegetable oils and animal fats recycled through a process of hydrogenation.
It can be used pure but also mixed with conventional diesel.
HVO contains a high cetane number which allows optimal combustion and, consequently, reduces engine wear, facilitating substantially cold starts.

It is an alternative green to conventional diesel and allows

Who is HVO intended for?
Its chemical composition is very similar to that of conventional diesel.
