Vulcan and IVECO together for Decarbonisation
We are thrilled to announce that Vulcan hosted at its Aprilia (LT) station the first Italian stage of IVECO's Tour d'Europe 2025 in collaboration with Bosch, a leading manufacturer of automotive technology components.
A crucial event that underlines our joint commitment to the decarbonisation of the transport sector and the promotion of biomethane as the energy solution of the future.
During the event, the IVECO S-Way LNG vehicle was refuelled with our 100% bioa renewable fuel and synonymous with economy.
A significant moment was the handover to IVECO of the Guarantee of Origina certification attesting to the entirely organic origin of the fuel. This process, also made possible by the use of the VCARDthe Vulcan fuel card, guarantees full traceability and transparency of the origin of biomethane, giving our customers the certainty of choosing a sustainable option.
The Tour d'Europe 2025, a wide-ranging initiative involving more than 20 partners from the European automotive supply chain, aims to raise awareness of the key role of renewable fuels in achieving climate neutrality by 2050, in line with the European Green Deal.
At Vulcan, we firmly believe in the potential of BIOGNL as a pillar of the circular economy and as a key tool for cleaner transport.
Our supply network and ability to provide certified Guarantees of Origin place us at the forefront of this energy transition.
We thank you for participating in the event Siro Fabbri (Head of Alternative Traction IVECO Market Italy), Andrea Bosi (Vulcan Key Account Manager), Silvia Migliorini (Director Federchimica-Assogasliquidi) and Costantino Amadei (President LNG Federchimica-Assogasliquidi Group).
